The 1st International Conference on Fostering Skills and Sustainability (ICFSS2025) invites researchers, educators, industry professionals, and policymakers worldwide to contribute to this groundbreaking forum dedicated to integrating sustainability and skills development in education. ICFSS2025 offers a unique platform to share cutting-edge research, pedagogical innovations, policy frameworks, and practical insights for building sustainable, future-ready educational systems.
ICFSS2025 is seeking high-quality, original submissions that address the challenges, opportunities, and solutions in promoting sustainability through skill-based education. Accepted papers will be featured in conference proceedings and considered for publication in reputable academic journals.

ICFSS2025 accepts the following submission types:
Full Papers (6-15 pages): Detailed studies with comprehensive results, analysis, and conclusions.
Short Papers (4-5 pages): Focused research, preliminary findings, or concept papers.

Different Types of Papers:
Description: These papers present original research findings, experiments, or studies, complete with data analysis, results, and conclusions. Research papers are typically peer-reviewed to assess the rigor and validity of the work.
Length: Full (6-15 pages) or Short (4-5 pages).
Description: Position papers present an author’s or a group’s viewpoint on a specific issue, often related to new trends, challenges, or future directions in the field. They propose arguments and insights without necessarily including new empirical data.
Length: Usually 4-5 pages.
Description: These papers are instructional and aim to teach or provide a detailed explanation of specific methods, tools, or techniques relevant to the conference theme. They can include hands-on exercises or best practices.
Length: 4-6 pages, depending on depth.
Description: Survey papers provide a comprehensive overview of a particular area by summarizing and synthesizing existing research, identifying gaps, and suggesting directions for future study.
Length: Full papers (6-8 pages).
Description: These papers focus on real-world applications or implementations of theories or practices, typically including data from specific programs, initiatives, or organizations.
Length: Varies; typically 4-6 pages.
Description: These papers accompany a live or video demonstration of a particular technique, technology, or educational model. Workshop papers often include interactive elements or learning activities.
Length: Short (4-5 pages), emphasizing key aspects.
Description: Poster papers are concise and visually oriented, summarizing the main points of a research idea or ongoing project. They are typically presented in a poster format to stimulate informal discussions.
Length: 1-2 pages for abstract and poster outline. To be considered for ACM Book of Abstracts & Posters.
Description: These papers discuss theoretical frameworks, models, or conceptual approaches to issues within the conference scope. They aim to expand theoretical understanding without primary empirical data.
Length: Full (5-7 pages).
Description: Review papers critically assess previous research, identifying trends, patterns, and insights, often with an evaluative perspective on existing literature.
Length: Typically 6-8 pages.
Description: These papers focus on practical applications and experiences from the field, aimed at practitioners implementing skills and sustainability in real-world settings. They often emphasize “lessons learned” and practical takeaways.
Length: Short (4-5 pages).
All submissions should follow the ICFSS2025 paper format guidelines. Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring high standards of academic quality.
Accepted papers will be published in the official ICFSS2025 conference proceedings and indexed in leading databases for greater visibility. Select high-quality papers will also be invited for extended versions in special issues of partner journals.
Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system in MICROSOFT CMT. Ensure that all identifying information is removed from the document for the review process.
